** ATTENTION **
Due to the new Illinois law regarding childcare: When using the Lincoln Park District pool you must be 12 years of age or older to enter by yourself. If your child is under the age of 12 they must be accompanied by someone 15 years of age or older. Thank you and we hope to see you at the Park District pool this summer!
Acceptable Attire
Proper swim attire is required at all times in the pool. No street clothes will be allowed in the water. Patrons that want to wear cover-ups in the pool must make sure that they are dri-fit or 100% polyester. Shirts will also be available for purchase. Swim diapers are required for all of those in diapers and are available for purchase at the front pool entrance. All flotation devices must be approved by the U.S. Coast Guard.
Wearing street clothes while swimming is a huge safety concern for both the swimmer and the lifeguards. They are heavy when wet and can impede lifeguards from giving proper care in an emergency.
All items will be available for purchase at the Park District and can be bought at any local store.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to speak with the Pool Manager or the Executive Director.
